“Sugar Babes” – Featuring Rosina DeLuca, Sheila Weiler & Janet Wright
I have worked in musical and regional theatres for many years from Connecticut’s Candlewood Theatre, and New Theatre and Broward Theatre in Coral Gables, Florida. I also performed in Playhouses in Dallas, Texas, San Francisco, California, and Miniola, Long Island, New York.
My repertoire consists of singing songs from the Great American Songbook but singing songs from 30’s, 40’s and 50’s is my favorite challenge.
I have done numerous commercials, voiceovers and I am continuing in this field of work presently.
I specialized in theatrical vignettes and songs from Broadway, Motion Picture and Tin Pan Alley during the Golden Age of American Music. I have performed in New York, Philadelphia and Richmond, Virginia in various and well known venues and on popular stages; and, as guest artist
with the Philadelphia classical Symphony Orchestra of Philadelphia.
I am the author of and have performed in my own vehicles at the New York Sheet Music Society in New York, Society Hill Red Room, Philadelphia, PA, Odette’s, New Hope, PA and The Main Stage of the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia.
I have been performing, for the past 15 years, with some of Delaware Valley’s best pianists and musicians. My vocal specialties include selections from the “Great American Songbook” and Broadway show tunes. I am presently joining some very talented Jazz musicians for a weekly evening Jazz Jam.
I have appeared in Cabaret performances in the Philadelphia area such as Whitemarsh Valley Inn and The Old Mill Inn. I have also performed in Theater productions at the Main Line Playhouse, Guys and Dolls and Helzner Productions, Another Bride, Another Groom.
In 2010 I was the grand prize winner in a singing competition at Jolly’s Dueling Piano’s in Center City Philadelphia.
