Cabaret and Concert Performances
For over 15 years I have been performing in great cabaret rooms and intimate concert venues.
These performances have given me the chance to perform music that has great meaning to me personally and allowed me to polish my skills as an entertainer. When I sing with the Eddie Bruce Band, the music we perform is designed to make people dance. The choices are always about the party, the hosts, filling the dance floor and keeping it full.
My decision to become a cabaret and concert artist grew out of a need to sing songs that have personal meaning to me. Pursuing this artistic outlet over the last 15 years has definitely enhanced my abilities as a bandleader. It has allowed me to concentrate on the great dance music for my parties as well as the Great American Songbook for my cabaret appearances.
Over the years I have had the privilege of performing at Morgan’s Cabaret at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia, where I am proud to say we hold the box office record. I have also played Odette’s in New Hope, Bally’s in Atlantic City, and The Metropolitan Room, Danny’s Skylight Room, Eighty Eight’s and The Supper Club in New York.. Among the shows I have written and performed are “Bruce on Bennett: A Loving Tribute to an American Musical Treasure … The Amazing Mr. Tony Bennett.” I take great joy in singing his songs, sharing insights into his career and explaining why his music has touched me so deeply.
I also performed a show called “Newley Discovered: The Music of Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.” This songwriting team created the music and lyrics for such great Broadway shows as “Stop the World” and “Roar of the Greasepaint”. They also wrote the music for the original movie version of “Willie Wonka.”

More and more of my clients are discovering that including a cabaret performance at their event is a great variation on the traditional dinner dance format of most parties. Ask me how we can customize a cabaret show to help you celebrate a great moment in your life or the life of someone you love.
